The passing season will go down in history for two reasons:

Very early maturing of blueberries

Blueberry growing is becoming more and more popular, not only in Poland, but also in Europe and the world. Blueberry reality changes very quickly.

Ladybird (Coccinella septempunctata) is commonly known as God's fudge and loves it. Ladybird are the enemies of our enemies, or pests.
These predatory beetles feed mainly on aphids, as well as honeybees and spider mites. They also do not despise small larvae of butterflies and dipterans.

Production of blueberries in Ukraine is growing at a rapid pace, and exports are also growing.
In 2017, export amounted to 1,600 tons, in 2016 it was 1200 tons, and in 2015 Ukraine exported less than 350 tons

The Fruit Logistic fair in Berlin was held on 7-9 February. Exhibitors from around the world from the fruit and vegetable industry had the opportunity to present their products and services.

There are very many things that dictate the quality of blueberries. There is a long way to go between quality on the bush and quality on the shelf.

Production of blueberries in Poland in the last 4-5 years has begun to develop dynamically, new plantings are growing.

The ends 3-year promotional and information campaign for berry fruit "Unusual properties of ordinary fruits" is coming to an end.  The campaign was conducted in Poland, Austria, Sweden, Finland and the Czech Republic.

Until recently, blueberries from South America were associated with Chile and Argentina. However, on the South American continent another giant - Peru is growing.
