The first promotional campaign for Chilean fruits was officially launched via food dispensing machines. The campaign is run jointly with Miss Fresh, one of the largest Chinese e-commerce companies, and is currently developing a food expansion plan through these machines.

In this case, the first Chilean fruit to be promoted in these dispensing machines is blueberry through a campaign that started last Monday and lasts until the first week of February.
Andrew Armstrong, executive director of the Arádanos Chile-ASOEX Committee, said the initiative, together with trying to position the "Blueberries from Chile" brand in the minds of consumers in the Asian giant, will allow consumers to know the availability, quality, safety and sweet taste of Chilean blueberries, through innovative and an easy way, such as food vending machines that are very popular in China and among consumers who want healthy and fresh snacks.
Blueberries are a very good choice to eat as a snack, because of the great taste, their numerous benefits for health and nutrition of people, therefore presenting them through food vending machines is a very good alternative.
Blueberries from Chile will be promoted for a month, the machines will be installed in various offices in Beijing. In this first promotion will be 100 machines.
The promotion is part of the work that ASOEX carries out to develop new sales channels for Chilean fruit.

Chile is currently the largest exporter of blueberries in the world, with exports of around 100,000 tonnes of each season.
The main selling market for Chilean blueberries is North America, but the number of shipments to Asia, especially China, has clearly increased over the last 10 years. In America, in the period 2009-2010, the increase was 86%, and now it has dropped to 65%. While exports to Asia increased from 3% in the period 2009-2010 to 13% in 2016-2017.
The Asian market is growing the fastest, which is why Chile treats it very seriously and has high hopes for it.
